Academic Qualification:

Minimum of 50% marks or above in Intermediate (HSSC) examination.

Special Case - Pre-Medical Background:

Candidates with at least 50% marks in Intermediate but without Mathematics (Pre-Medical background) are eligible.
However, they need to complete deficiency courses in Mathematics (6 credit hours) within one year of regular studies.

Scholarship Information Summary:

1. Tameer Scholarship:

- For students admitted on open merit seats in BS degree programs (excluding Medical and Dental Sciences).
- Eligibility based on securing a position (1st to 10th) in 1st annual intermediate examination.
- Covers one academic term/semester.
- Can cover up to 100% of tuition fee.


2. Talent Scholarship:

- Applicable to new admissions in specific Bachelor, MS, and M. Phil degree programs.
- Requires a minimum 3.85 CGPA for continuation in subsequent semesters.

3. Mumtaz Scholarship:

- Available for students of semester systems.
-Eligibility based on securing a top 20% position in university exams.
-Requires an SGPA of 3.50 or above.
- Awarded from the 2nd term/semester onwards.
- Applicable for Musabiqat Scholarship eligible students.
- Excludes programs in Medical and Dental Sciences.
- General Rules for Scholarships / Financial Assistance:

- Not applicable to students from Riphah-affiliated institutions.
Students must have no outstanding dues.
- Each student can only receive one scholarship/financial assistance.
Not applicable to repeated courses/semesters/terms.
- 1st term and special/reserved seat students not eligible for "Mawakhat" scheme.
- Decisions by the Financial Assistance Committee are final and not subject to review in the same semester/term.
- University reserves the right to revise rules and regulations as needed.
