What Is USAT?

USAT stands for Undergraduate Studies Admission Test. This test is a pre-admission test for students who want to continue their higher education through undergraduate programs organized by HEC. Education Testing Council (ETC) is a testing company controlled by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). This council of HEC is the authority to take USAT in Pakistan. USAT is acceptable all across Pakistan. It is a subject-specific test based on the pattern of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Note that the SAT is an international test that is acceptable across the globe as an admission eligibility test.

These scores serve as an objective measure of a student's preparedness for higher education. Students who perform well on the USAT can increase their chances of achieving admission to renowned institutions and programs.

What is the minimum score for qualifying USAT and does that guarantee admission in any university?

USAT test is for about 100 marks and the minimum score to qualify for USAT is 50%.

Every institution has its evaluation criteria for admission and scholarship awards. So passing the USAT only does not guarantee admission to any university. Generally, the score in USAT is used on a qualified basis, that is, a test taker with a higher score in USAT is preferred for admission if other criteria of evaluation are also met. You must prepare for the test for a higher score.

When should I take the USAT?
